ST-1 Token for BlackBerry

The ST-1 Token for BlackBerry is a software implementation of the RB-1 hardware token for installation on BlackBerry Devices.  It is the ideal token for organizations that want the strength of two-factor authentication without the overhead and cost of hardware distribution.





Requirements:

  • CRYPTO-Server 6.4 or CRYPTO-Protocol Server 6.4
  • CRYPTO-Server 6.4 Licensed for software tokens
  • HTTP and HTTPS Protocols turned on
  • HTTP and HTTPS Protocols are required to be configured for port 80
  • Blackberry OS System: 4.0.0 or later
  • J2ME Compatible device (MIDP-2.0 & CLDC-1.1)
  • Blackberry 7xxx model series or newer device
  • Blackberry RAM: 1MB of free memory
  • The Blackberry’s TLS (Transport Layer Security) to have its TLS Default configured for Handheld

Recommended usage:

  • Authenticate users at network, system, application, and desktop levels
  • Secure internal and remote network access
  • Compatible with leading remote access servers, wireless access points, Web servers, firewalls, and VPN
  • Large distributed workforces
The ST-1 for BlackBerry supports a wide range of operating modes that can be modified by a CRYPTO-Server generated initialization file according to organizational and security policy requirements.
