CRYPTOCard provides strong authentication and identity management to Interoute clients

CRYPTOCard and Interoute have announced a strategic partnership to deliver a new form of strong authentication and identity management to Interoute's client base across the globe. CRYPTOCard's Managed Authentication Service (CRYPTO-MAS) will help Interoute's clients reinforce their identity management systems by eliminating a major IT security risk: static passwords.
CRYPTO-MAS will enable Interoute's customers to secure their networks and online assets by replacing static passwords with randomly generated one-time passwords, utilising CRYPTOCard's technology already used by thousands of companies - including Google, PWC and NASA - in more than 70 countries today.
The CRYPTOCard-Interoute solution provides organisations of all sizes with an answer to the flaws of static passwords, irrespective of IT sophistication or budgetary limitations. The CRYPTO-MAS technology:
- Is more flexible, more secure and better value than the alternatives;
- Has unrestricted ‘mix and match’ access to the widest range of token types on the market;
- Uses stronger tokens with no in-built time-out: why change perfectly good tokens every two to three years?
- Can be up and running in hours, using Interoute and CRYPTOCard’s existing infrastructure;
- Removes the password management load on help-desks;
- Removes upfront implementation costs, complexities and capital expenditure;
- Removes ongoing IT support for authentication;
- Is based on CRYPTOCard’s proprietary technology resulting in the lowest cost offering in the market.
